NFC: Re: Fw: RE: Killifish / darter ???



Alex,

The Texas Logperch was introduced into CA waters "accidentally" near Yuba
City/Marysville and has extended its range.  It could have conceivably
traveled the aqueduct system to Southern California.  Last I heard it was
the only darter found in CA.  Since I haven't seen a picture I can't say for
certain but it does look quite pretty when young and grows large, for a
darter that is.
