Re: NFC: Sierra Club

I never have had direct contact with any Sierra Club members but even before
I read about them here, I had already heard similiar stories. One Sierra
Club member did come to my door once when just my wife was home, it had
something to do about a nearby body of water. My wife explained to him that
she didn't have the time at the moment to listen to him and with that he
said something like, "don't you care". At that point she said he saw the
door closing on him very quickly. My wife cares, as do I but sometimes
people just don't have the time to listen to someone standing on the
doorstep; it may be an ok time for them but maybe not for the person at
home. They seem to be a group of people trying to bait other's into a fight
if things don't go just their way;along the lines of the PETA group. Robert
Rice, you're right, when you say where there is a common ground we can all
work together, if the Sierra and PETA groups saw this they could spend more
time on conservation rather than slaming everyone that has a different point
of view.
