Hi Blendia.
Netscape just crashed, don't know if this is a repeat or not.
The trap I use is a standard wire minnow trap. This is a wire barrel
with a funnel on each end. It is joined in the middle by a few little
clips. The fish swim into the wide mouth to get at bait in the centre,
and cannot swim back out, most of the time.
I have had times where I checked the trap, saw only a fwe fish I wasn't
overly interested, and left them in there, only to find they were gone
in a day. Although its possible that the fish were eaten by something,
since the trap was empty, it seems more likely that the fish swam out.
These traps aren't overly expensive. You can get them for about 10-15$
at K-Mart or Walmart. Yes, you can indeed find them online. Cabelas, I
believe, sells them. I think their website is www.cabelas.com, but
don't quote me on it.
