Teach him to eat frozen. It is much easier and cheaper. A lot of
places sell frozen smelt for decent prices. Just a little bigger than a
minnow. Yes you can cut them down to size. Flounder or catfish can be cut
into strips. Squid also will be accepted. Let him fast for a couple of
days, then wiggle the frozen, and your troubles will be over. George
