Moina are Cladocerans similar to Daphnia but are slightly smaller in size.
They also handle higher temperatures better than Daphnia and for that reason
are the species mostly used for tropical fish culture in Singapore. Newly
hatched Moina are slightly larger than newly hatched brine shrimp. Culture
of Moina is basically the same as Daphnia.
