Re: Glassworms

Glassworms are the larvae of a fly. They are only available during the
winter months. If you've ever been ice fishing in Wisconsin or Minnesota,
you would occasionally find them in your ice fishing hole. They can be
purchased here in Wisconsin from pet food stores from December through
February.

They are too large to feed to fry, however most of the Killifish we keep
love them, with the exception of those that have small mouths. They are 1/2
to 3/4 of an inch in length. And according to THE INNES BOOK they have been
known to eat fish spawn and newly hatched fry.
