Daphnia
Any one want to take a stab at this?
What is happening with my Daphnia? I recieved a starter culture in the mail
the other day (about 3 weeks ago). It consisted of around 100 daphnia magna
ranging in size from baby to adult. I placed them in a 7.5 gallon container
that was 3/4 filled with fresh collected rain water. Then added about 4 cups
of very nice green water that was also started from rain water. I airated with
a very slow trickle of large bubbles (no airstone). The temp is around 67F. It
appears that the green water liked the conditions better because that is the
only thing thriving in there. They seemed to be doing very well for a while
but now I cannot find but a few in there. Any theories?
