Re: Live Foods Digest V1 #42

Microworms

I use a 1 tblsp of wheat germ and 1 tblsp of corn meal, with a pinch of
yeast. They seem to be doing quite well. I don't find the odor offensive
unless the culture gets really old. Oh, I do microwave the corn meal and
wheat germ with enough water to make it a slurry for about 45 seconds.

vitamins to keep your fish in good condition and should be fed at least
once a day to all species that will eat it. I am not sure about the uptake
of vitamins in aquatic live food but an easy way to feed it to earth,
white, grindal worms ect is to use the dry cat food as the feeding medium
as this also has vitamin supplements. Whilst I sometimes use it to feed
both my cultures and occasionally the fish I have never noticed any marked
difference. Specialist flake foods do however make a difference.
