Yes the dragonfly larvae are eating your small fish. So not feed them to anything smaller than three to four times their own size and then only if the fish are predatory. They do not male great food because they are mostly water but they bring out the hunting instinct in fish.

My daphnia containers have record populations of assorted Dragonfly  Larvae 
anywhere from 1/8" to over 1" in size.  I have been  feeding them to
a 
community native tank with some fish over 2".  All of a  sudden I have
lost three 
fish.  Any possible connection?
