Algae as live food
Again, in the Barron's book by
Harro Hieronnimus "Guppies,
mollies and platys"
For algae growth - 'place a canning
jar filled with tank water in a
sunny window, and add a few leaves
from aquatic plants." When the
leaves are covered with algae, place
them in the feeding tank.
This sounds like a great method for
feeding tiny egg=layer fry. An
as a quick food for small Algae grubbers
like the little Otocinlus.
