questions, first killie babies

I have my first killie babies, and I'm wondering how I might be
able to tell males from females. Any help would be appreciated.

Details:

10 gal. tank with big wad of java moss, 1 pair Fp. gardneri "Misaje"

along with the moss I added a floating yarn mop on 11/28. After
about a week or two I examined the mop, noticed a couple of eggs
but I didn't want to mess with it for just a couple so I put the
mop back in the tank. On 12/23 I went to take the mop again and
saw a single fry swimming near the mop! At this time I decided
to just leave things as they are, see how things might naturally
progress. On 12/30 I could find 4 babies, there may be more but
they hide pretty well. Feeding OSI flake food and microworms.
The two largest babies are not at all shy, they're taking flake
food at the surface.

I've had pretty good looks at the biggest babies, so far they
look like the female, especially the rounded shape of the caudal
fin. Is this a diagnostic at this young age (a few weeks) or
do I need to wait before sex differences become apparent? What
should I look for, and when? When might the male coloration
become noticeable?

Thanks,
Brian
