I don't have a breeding group of F. chrysotus yet; but Ray Wolff in
Wisconsin does. His fish are from Lee's Creek, LA. You can contact him at
choupiqu at wctc_net. I'm honestly not sure about shipping Fundulus eggs; it
should be possible, I've just never done it.
As well as chrysotus, I'm also keeping F. dispar (Tuscaloosa County, AL) and
F. olivaceus (Limestone County, AL). They're all interesting fish in
different ways, visually; olivaceus has a heavy black lateral line, dispar
is red/blue with faint vertical barring, and chrysotus is lemon yellow with
gold flake spangling. All are very happy to take flake food, and are not
especially aggressive. I hope to be able to breed them all.
