I can verify the severity of an allergy to bloodworms.  As many of my
friends in UNYKA know -all I have to do is walk into a room where even
freeze dried bloodworms have been used and the dust is still slightly in the
air.  My throat closes and my eyes turn bright red (water and itch) and I
have to take medication of some form to deal with it. (Proventil Inhaler or
Benedryl).  It took a long time to determine what was causing the allergy
and my physician was quite surprised when we finally figured it out. For
about 6 months we thought I was developing an alergic asthma, but had no
idea what the cause was.

But I have no problem with brine shrimp ...
