walkeri GH2 (letter from the UK)

Still no response in the UK regarding A.walkeri GH2/74. I was hoping for at
least one or two replies. It looks like the BKA can't help you out in
maintaining this population.
I have put a message in the BKA Newsletter to the effect that this fish is
no longer in the BKA. I have found that by putting ones head on ones
chopping block one is bound to evoke a positive response.(who the hell made
this stupid language up any how?).
A collector friend of mine is going to Ghana shortly to look for this sp. in
it's varying populations but I don't hold out much hope of finding them.
One positive thing to come from this is that GH/1 (E.chaperi shreiberi) once
thought to be extinct, is now still around in the wild in newly found areas.
I put a column in the BKA Newsletter each month which we have now put onto
our (shared) website. Find our Website through Aquatic Resources
http://www.cfkc.demon.co.uk/club/bka.htm & click LIBRARY at the bottom of
the text. The diary column's are found under the killifish sub heading &
click fish house.net for each months entry.
I would welcome any response from the other side of the pond.
