Re: why the plants deal was posted

Catherine and all,

Don't fret about the occasional "mistake" of posting to the group.  You had
a reason, so it wasn't a mistake anyway.  It someone is annoyed by this, the
term "get a life" comes to mind.  Someone who is as generous as you should
not be chastised.  We should remember that Catherine originally offered
plants to the group.

I don't know of any group where one does not see inadvertent group postings
when communicating with an individual.  It's just part of the "friction" of
email.  I think it's interesting to "overhear" personal transactions.  One
learns about the availability of certain fish and the mechanics and ethics
of shipping.  Perhaps this is especially useful to people new to the hobby.

Tom Roche--who shall soon proudly lay claim to some of the much-discussed
wisteria.
