Re: Java Moss
I keep it with most of my killies and a tank of guppies for a supply of moss
with no "contaminate" eggs(of another species) for use in newly setup killie
breeding tanks. It grows well in somt acid water and does prefer some
light(grows faster) but will grow slowly in very little light.(like a tank
in room with daylight enough to see by but not necessarily bright light or
any tank lighting) There is probably someone near you that keeps killies
and can probably spare some..I would think it could survive a short trip in
an envelope inside a fishbag. I'm not sure it would make it from Pittsburgh
, Pa from me, but if nobody local offers any, contact me at
wshenefelt at msn_com and I'll mail you some(no charge)
