My Permanent Set-up

Why not try Epiplatys annulatus (Pseuodoepiplatys annulatus) the clown
epiplatys with an australe. In my experience the fry of annulatus stay near
the surface while the australe fry stay near the bottom. If you cover the
top with lots of water sprite and duckweed and cover the bottom with java
moss you might get lucky. Bob

Hi there,
I currently have about eight Epiplatys annulatus in a 20 gallon long tank
that is completely overgrown and choked with water sprite, salvinia, and
java moss. I dump in a load of baby brine shrimp once a day. I am getting
a slow but constant stream of juveniles from this set up. Recently when I
temporarily cleared aside some of the java moss, I was pleased and surprised
that the trio of panda corys (Corydoras panda) that also occupy the tank,
had also produced several progeny which had stayed completely hidden from me
in the dense undergrowth.
