Chris I'm using a Penn-Plax silent air X6 (SA-X6) it is currently
pumping 9 sponge filters with room for more. I also, use bleeder valves
to relieve pressure off of the diaphragms in the pump. Also, Tetra has
their new TetraTec pumps out. They have a built in pressure release in
the pump which prevents back pressure on the diaphragm. They have just
released these pumps for sale. The Tetra deep water pumps are good for
high pressure pumping if you have impractical tanks such as tall
columns. Bob
