Hold on, Bill! The offering of a pair of fish for a nominal sum to each new 
member was a program attempted many years ago by the AKA through the 
Beginners Committee (not the Membership committee which already has lots of 
work to do all the timme) and abandoned as it never worked. Before starting a 
sort of scramble of sorts, make a proposal to the BOT and see if it is 
feasible. It is foolhardy to start something not worked out and coordinated 
through the Board and the appropriate committee. Your idea is worthwhile so 
go through channels (sound like an old military type) and give it a chance to
