ago, I fed white worms to a tank of Pantanadon Podoxys.  These fish are in a
brachish water tank.  Anyway, those worms are still alive in the spawning
mops after two months.  Why can they survive in salt water better than
fresh?  I thought worms hated salt!

    White worms (apparently) live amongst seaweed on beaches, and survive
when the tide comes in- mine usually survive 2-3 days in my tanks which is 1
teaspoon salt/gallon
