Be calm Tim. The person sent the message to the list by replying to a
message that you had sent. Jolly bad form, as they used to say in your
country, and maybe still do during cricket matches. I unsubscribed him. On
many lists people get really mad when they see unsubscribe messages sent to
the list rather than to the majordomo, and big flames start telling the
people they should look at how to unsub properly. I can't be bothered with
that nonsense, so I just quietly unsub them. Any message with unsubscribe
in it bounces to me. If it is legit, I forward it, if it is an unsub
request I drop them. Now, for example, this message would bounce unless I
had authorized it.
