True.  And I don't begrudge him for that.  

It's going to make researching valid names just a little bit harder for those who don't want to go through the expense and hassle of ordering the printed version (with Francs?).  

An interesting idea would be to publish it on CD for purchase with an on-line update available on the web for subscribers only.  Microsoft Encarta encyclopedia uses this business model.  That provides the best of both worlds.  

Let's really stretch our imaginations.  what if the AKA were to negotiate a site license for the book and make it available on our web site to members only via a password protected web page?  That would be another member benefit.
