I am using Tetra's Deep Water pump to run 8 ten gallon tanks equipped with hydro sponges.....I am very pleased with the output. These tanks are for apistos....since killies like a little less surface agitation, you could probably run the 12 tanks it says you can, or at least 10 tanks.
