Re: new members

I know there's been periodic announcements about new clubs on the list from time to time, the Arizona and Boston folks come to mind. So posting announcements here and on the killies list are acceptable.
Also, I would imagine that Barry would be happy to put an announcement and contact data on the AKA web site. Ken Mysliwiec (Magilla) chairs the affiliate club commitee. Contact him at Magilla at interacess_com with the info to keep his records straight as well as to register as an affiliate.
Scan the AKA roster for nearby AKA members and send them a letter or give them a call.
Send the word out to other web sites, such as www.fishlinkcentral.com. Mark Bernett is a big killifish supporter and his site is used by many to locate clubs.
Send an announcement to other local, general interest fish clubs as well as to the trade magazines.
Lotsa work, but nobody said beating the drum would be easy <g>
Just a few ideas.
