Have you ever seen the Journal (JAKA)?

I'm asking because at a minimum, membership is a magazine subscription to this fine publication.  But, of course, if you've never seen it, you would have no basis to determine it value to you.  And most folks only see it by joining or if they know an AKA member nearby and have visited their personal library.

(Here's a reason to publish sample articles from past issues as well as a summary of current topics)

I joined without seeing an issue.  I think I joined for two reasons:

One, I knew that there was a great void in available information on killies from the general tropical fish sources.  

Two, I have a general belief in supporting the organization and its activities, without which killies may nearly disappear from the hobby.  So although I gain no direct, tangible benifit from this aspect, it helps assure that killies will be available to me in the future.
