I really don't have a problem with the majority of species being listed, it
was only the "genetically engineered" N. guentheri that I felt was
inappropriate. Judging by the recent F&E listings, with a couple of
exceptions the majority of the other species in the N&RSC listings are
relatively uncommon and worthy of distribution through this committee.
However, I do think that some of the high prices need justification. Is this
being conducted on a cost recovery basis or is it a matter of "what the
market will bear" ?
