I have searched all applications for the period of May through July, 1999
and find no application for renewal from you. Presumably there was some kind
of glitch in your submission, because it never got to me. I am sure that if
you apply again, Joe Bulterman will do everything he can to bring you up to
date with JAKA and the BNL.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I am copying this to killietalk so that folks
realize that this was not an error of the membership committee. June was the
time when the server unfortunately went down for some days while I was in
Africa. You should not have been able to even apply during that time,
however, unless your application was submitted at the very moment it
crashed. That's possible, but unlikely.

Please submit again and we'll work on restoring your membership.

I renewed by credit card in June only to find that I am no longer a
member.
