I have seen this with poor water quality or high levels of stress.  I used to get it all the time with a cichlid, P. kribensis at breeding times.  The solution is better water quality and less stress (Duh !)  A high dose of marine salt is helpful.  I have seen the eye return back to its original position but frequently the fish is blind in that eye afterwards.  Several medications have been recommended but none in my opinion works any better than salt.  Good luck... Bob

My Notho Patrizzi has his eyes popped out and it's behavior is not normal..
What are the deseases that may cause this?
