</color>Congratulations! You have just bought one of the most friendly
killies. As it grows to its full 10cm size it will learn to recognise its
feeder as well as eat from your hand. These fish are not shy and
are always active. The yellow colour will increase in the male till
his whole body is yellow. They really look super.

</color>The correct spelling is: *Aplocheilus lineatus* "Golden Wonder".

</color>This fish doesn't produce lots of eggs. Fortunately they produce
good quality eggs with a good hatch rate.

I don't know what size your fish are but they should begin to
produce eggs from 5 to 6 cm. They will spawn anywhere but
especially mops (or any other floating plant substitute). If fed a
varied diet of bloodworm, white mosquito larvae (glass worm) and
black mosquito larvae they should produce on average 16 eggs
per day per female. Don't work with batches of more than 50 eggs
for convienance sake. Put the eggs in a shallow 'pan' of water and
add some meth.blue to the water. They take bbs straight away and
grow fast.

Do regular water changes with the fry.

Watch out! They jump! And for no good reason too.

Best of luck

Tyrone
