I have no Idea.  I call it misaje, and never heard of the "gold" tag..  I
can see gold australe because of the females being more golden than tan
brown like the "REAL" cape lopez (now chocolate) australe.  The only thing
that is gold is the fin trim which to me is a more orange yellow than the
old tank variety (yellow fin trim) I had in the 60's.  This one has intense
blue green body rather than the hint of blue with the red spots.
Just for information, this guy seems to like to put eggs in the gravel more
than in the mop.  Never find an egg in the mop, but just clean the gravel
and watch the eggs go up the gravel vac.
