I wonder if they still remember the seasons when they or their ancestors were 
in Africa. Certainly my daughter in Australia is not happy when it is 95+ (35 
degrees C) degrees at Christmas time. So just changing the temperature is not 
what they are  looking for completely. However, having said that, I have had 
some success with diapterons and elberti moving them to a cooler spot in the 
basement.
