Jeremy Adams asked about a digital camcorder used as a digital still camera.

IMHO, you will not be happy with stills done with any camcorder, digital or
not. They usually won't give good prints and aren't even that good for web
photos. Try the Usenet group rec.photo.digital for some really active
discussions.
