looking for desert pupfish
I recently visited the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in
Tucson, Arizona, and saw a nice display of Desert Pupfish,
Cyprinodon macularius (specifically the Quitobaquito
subspecies, Cyprinodon macularius eremus).
This was the first I had seen or heard of these fish. They
are listed as endangered, so they cannot be wild collected,
but I have been told that "pre-listing" fish may be available
in the killifish hobby.
If anybody knows where I may find some Desert Pupfish, please
contact me directly.
Thanks,
Brian
