[Katz, Sue] Many of my killies relish OSI freshwater flake
food. Not all, but I've noticed the large male E. chaperi has been
refusing frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms/glassworms - choosing to
hang at the top until I give him his flakes, then he attacks with great
gusto. Even many of the *well fed but picky* fish that Mach's sent (and
spoiled with all those wonderful live foods he has access to) have
transfered to eating the OSI. They've refused some of the other flake
foods I've tried, so it might be something OSI alone has.
There are some holdouts who turn it down, but not systematically
(like all epiplatys, or all Nothos).
I would also warn that you should watch those cubes of tubifex
and make sure the fishes eat it all. I had a very experienced guppy
keeper kill off my killies in NE 'cause he didn't realize the difference
in appetites and fed like he would his guppies....
