Bruce Pedden: my water is moderately hard and my AUS hatch in about 14 days
of incubation at 76 degrees room temp. Temp and hardness of the water
influences the development of the embryos as well as the shell of the eggs. I
would suggest placing the fully developed eggs into a vial, blow air into it
and carry it about in your shirt pocket (for tumbling effect and heat) about
an hour. This often effects a good hatch of eggs. Good luck.
