AKA server
Folks,
I mentioned on the list that I had changed the AKA server to a new machine
in a physically different location (still within my university) with a new
IP address. There were a few glitches associated with this change, despite
my preliminary testing. In particular, there were some intermittent
problems with the secure server not responding, so if you tried to submit
an application for membership, for example, you may have failed to get a
response from us. I have now tracked down the problem and it is fixed.
Yeeaaaaa! I hope that the hair that I tore out in the process grows back
before the convention.
Anyway, I wanted you all to know that the server is now working fully and
that the secure side of it is indeed secure.
