April 25 and 26
The Bay Area Killifish Association invites you to West Coast Weekend
VIII on April 25th and 26th 1999 at Rickey’s Hyatt in Palo Alto,
California. This is the largest killifish show in the Western United
States. Featured Speakers Saturday and Sunday morning include Dr. Paul
V. Loiselle (Killies and Rainbows of Madagascar), Dr. Brian Watters
(Nothobranchius), Ruud Wildekamp (Collecting in Brazil and an
archaeology-Fish Project in Turkey), Peter Tirbak (African [Gabon]
Killies), Peter Unmack (Desert Action and a Pupfish Examination in
Mexico), and Roger Langton (Killifish Conservation Efforts).

and
speakers, judging classifications, registration, mail-in entries,
accommodations, and subscribing to the WCW email list. The show entries
will be on display Saturday only, and most may be purchased at the huge
auction on Sunday afternoon, along with an importation from Europe.
Rare
and beginner's fishes will also be sold Saturday. For additional
