I'd tend to agree with huck, thier probably eating but thier being
secrative about it. My experience is that most of the smaller rivulus
are rather shy always hiding in the mop or behind it. Once they see food
such as  BBS or daphnia they dart right out for it and then dart right
back into the mop, often I see them turn right around in the mop and
peek out of it. I see this with such species as agilae, gaeyi and the
xiphidius. 
I wouldn't worry to much about it, rivulus have very healthy appetites
and I also have never seen one starve to death.
