Hatching/raising N. Korthausae

Hi. I'm a relatively new member and have never hatched/raised mud
spawners before. I've got a batch of eggs that have been waiting in
their damp peat for 12 weeks (I followed the directions in the
beginner's guide that the AKA produces for storage). So, I assume that I
should add conditioned water to them and let them hatch. My problem is
that I have gotten good hatches on Fp. gardneri and A. lineatus in the
past, but have then gotten lots of belly-sliders within a few days, so I
must be doing something wrong in my fry rearing practices. Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks.
