I have never found that snails like ramshorn and pond snails eat killifish
eggs. Today I collected eggs from mops that also contained snail eggs. So the
snails had been there too. Snails will die at a low pH slightly before the
fish will die. Probably below 4.5 pH. However it is a fine line. When my
snails start to die I panic and change the water before the fish also die.
