Re: Extinct Mexican pupfish

<< A member reminded me I had neglected to name the four extinct Mexican
pupfish.
 I apologize for that oversight. The four fish species are:
       
 		1. Cyprinodon alvarezi
            2. Cyprinodon longidorsalis
 		3. Cyprinodon veronicae
  		4. Megupsilon aporus

Thanks for the update.  While Cyprinodon alvarezi is extinct in the wild, they
are fairly common among the killie keepers in the Washington, DC area.  We
have several members breeding that species and they are regularly seen at the
auctions.
