I use Microsoft Excel™ spreadsheets to keep track of breeding species, eggs in
water, eggs in peat, fry, etc. The most useful part of this, beside just
keeping records, is the capability of calculating automatically (with proper
homework) the due date for annual eggs from an internal database lookup
function. I can then sort by due date and systematically try them for
hatching. Of course, I could, but I don't input average daily temperatures and
correct for those effects.
