The recirculating motors off of cars sounded like a good idea. However
having been forced to used one in a retail situation I would not recommend
it.

You need a large electric motor, about 1/2 hp. While the electric motor is
quiet the recirculating pump is not. We needed to mount it onto a 1/2 piece
of sheet steel to stop it from crawling around on the floor.

The plan is workable if you are a real handy kind of guy or don't need to
worry about the noise level.
