Cutting plastic sheet to size can be done on the band saw at sizes much
greater than the throat size of the band saw being used by putting a
temporary out board table on the saw to provide a place to clamp the edge
guide. This makes the cutting much easier than trying to use the throat side
of the saw

I have used plastic dividers in ten gallon tanks and have used various types
of edge materials, such as plastic ceiling or panel seam closers. Once I
used those plastic edges you put at the edge of an archway opening to  keep from
wearing the paint off. Just cut to length and glue to the plastic divider
before seating the divider in the tank. Inexact cuts and/or uneveness of cut
can easily be compensated for with this approach
