Re: Is List Alive?

Hello Dave
As to where you can get killifish, well if you subscribed to this list
you probably went through the American Killifish Associations web page.
If that was so you must have seen where you could join the AKA. When
you joiin the AKA you recieve Bimonthly issues of the JAKA ( journal of
the American Killifish Association) which has articles about killies and
monthly issues of the Business News Letter which has the Fish And Egg
listing. There is always several people from Florida who list killies
for sale or eggs of killies. Also there is the Suncoast Killifish
Society which is the killie club in Florida. The contact person for
the SKS is Mike Bartlett 407 366 5616. There are quite a number of
excellent breeders in this group who regularly list fish for sale year
round.
That would be my suggestion for starters. Joining the AKA is something
I did about 4 years ago and haven't regretted doing so since. My own
personal club (UNYKA) has members who specialized in both annuals and
non annuals and this gives me a wide choice of fish to be able to
purchase just a local club meetings. Hope this helps you out. If
not you can email and I'll give you some private pointers
