food for killies
Hi
Every spring I wind up with sizeable gobs of the roe of carp, bluegills,
bullheads etc. Mostly I wind up throwing them away. I do have one friend,
who if he is in the vicinity will take all of them I can come up with but he
is seldom arounds. Sooooo-- I was wondering how good a fish food they might
make. Highly interested in your opinions.
Thanks in advance.
Iwas into killies but moved about ten years ago and never got back in----too
busy hunting and fishing. Now I'm grounded with a bad heart and have decided
it is time to get back intofish again. I hope to be involved with killies
and with native North American fishes. I have just about finishewd a very
small fish room around my furnace, hoping to capture some of the lost heat
to warm some of the tanks. Since I live in Fox Lake Wisc. it is to cold to
ship anything now, but a bit later in the year I will be looking for some
killie eggs and some of the dwarf sunfishes. One of the guys on the list has
already told me he will have eggs this spring. That's really great.
Thanks for any info available
Howard
