When the fry reach about 1/2 inch long males will begin to show some
color other than clear in the anal and dorsal fins. Females will
always be clear. Also remember that some fish sex out later so don't
be discouraged. It isn't until they reach 3/4 inch long that they
really start to show color. good luck. By the way which location of
Gardneri do you have.
