It varies from species to species. With my ongoing battle to keep
Aphyosemion zygaima going, harder, 7.4 pH water gives 95% males, softer,
more acidic water gives the occasional female. I know killie keepers who
have gotten all male or all female on a wide range of species, including
one who got all female zygaima. One of the fun things with species
maintenance is you get to learn about individual species, warts and all.
Lists like this are great for sharing what we've picked up along the
way.
