I haven't "proven" it works either, but I feel that it does under some
circumstances. Especially when fish are young and just beginning to spawn, it
seems that the eggs are more tender and the acriflavine gets them through that
stage. As I said before, it will not make an infertile egg good, but it will
preserve the sensitive eggs through the early stages of embryo development.
