How specific do you want? They were collected in The Republic of Congo by
Buytaert & Wachters in August 1978. I don't know where it was described in
detail. Roger Langton's "Wild Collections of Killifish, Second Edition"
doesn't give a reference. Future compilations of this sort would be
well–served if they did have references. Incidentally, this is one of the
most gorgeous killifish.
